Credit card ticket reconciliation processes are highly complex for airlines, especially when they operate in many markets with different rules.
Context
A large airline had a combination of automatic and manual processing to reconcile banknotes and credit card payments.
End-to-end system performance was not at the level required to perform a successful reconciliation.
Legacy systems are cumbersome and unable to cope with the amount of data.
WE DID
- We install a processing flow using big data tools
- Together with our client we define more than 140 reconciliation rules
- We install a control panel for the process that also allows to identify and analyze unreconciled transactions
